Can I Use Tire Sealant on Cooper Tires?

I'm looking to use tire sealant on my trusty Cooper Tires, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea. Some people swear by it for preventing punctures and making tire changes easier, while others claim it can damage the tires or reduce their lifespan. Has anyone else tried using tire sealant with their Coopers? What were your experiences like? Are there any specific types of Cooper Tires that this shouldn't be used on?
