DIY: How to Remove and Replace the Battery in a 2019 BMW X5

I'm having trouble with my 2019 BMW X5's battery and would like to replace it myself. The original battery is a 12V 72Ah unit, but I'm unsure of the correct procedure for removal and replacement. Has anyone else had to do this job? What tools and precautions should I take?
