BMW 535i with Sport Package - Worth the extra cost?

I'm considering upgrading my current 535i to the Sport Package version and I'd love to hear from others who have done the same. Is the additional cost worth it for improved handling and performance? Do the sport-tuned suspension and 18-inch wheels make a noticeable difference on the road?
