1989 BMW 525i E34: How to make it more comfortable?

I've recently acquired a 1989 BMW 525i E34 and I'm trying to make it more comfortable for daily driving. The current condition is that the seats are worn out, the suspension needs adjustment, and there's some rattling noise coming from the interior. Has anyone modified their E34 with similar issues? What solutions did you find effective?
