My M135i's DME is Flashing - What Could Be Wrong?

I'm experiencing a problem with my M135i's DME, the main computer module is flashing with a red light and displaying a fault code. The car has been serviced recently and I've noticed no unusual warning lights previously. Has anyone else encountered this issue or have any ideas on what could be causing it?
