I've owned my Audi A4 for over 7 years now and I can confidently say that its maintenance costs are relatively low compared to other luxury brands. With proper care, I estimate saving around $500-$700 annually on servicing alone. Definitely worth keeping long term in my opinion.

I've owned my Audi A4 for over 7 years now and I can attest that maintenance costs are relatively high, especially when it comes to parts. However, the reliability and performance of the vehicle make up for it in my opinion. Worth considering if you're prepared for the expenses.

I've owned my Audi A4 for 7 years now and have had relatively low maintenance costs compared to other car owners I know. The key is to stick to the recommended servicing schedule and address any issues promptly. I've also found that using OEM parts and visiting authorized dealerships helps keep costs down in the long run. Overall, I'd say it's definitely worth keeping your Audi if you take care of it properly - my current mileage is over 120k and still running smoothly!

I've owned my Audi A4 for over 6 years now and I must say, maintenance costs have been a significant factor in my decision to keep it long term. While the initial purchase price may seem steep, the overall cost of ownership has been relatively low compared to other luxury brands. Regular servicing every 10k miles, occasional replacement of wear-and-tear parts, and some minor upgrades have kept my car running smoothly without breaking the bank. I've saved over $5k in maintenance costs alone, which more than makes up for any potential losses on the vehicle's resale value.

I've owned my Audi A4 for over 5 years now and can attest that maintenance costs have been a significant factor in my decision to keep it long term. While initial purchase prices are higher compared to some competitors, Audi's reliability and durability make up for the extra expenses. My average annual maintenance bill has hovered around $500-$700, which I consider reasonable considering the overall performance and features of the vehicle. As a responsible owner, I factor in these costs and weigh them against the benefits of owning an Audi - for me, it's still worth keeping.

After owning an Audi for over 5 years I've come to realize that the initial savings on purchase price are offset by higher maintenance costs. However, the quality and reliability of German engineering keep me loyal to the brand, making it worth my while.

I've owned my Audi A4 for over 8 years now, and while maintenance costs have been higher than expected, I think it's worth keeping long term due to its reliability and performance. The cost per mile has actually decreased over time, making it a worthwhile investment for me personally.

I've owned my A4 for over 100k miles with minimal issues, and maintenance costs have been comparable to other European makes I've owned. The key is keeping up with scheduled servicing and addressing problems promptly. Overall, it's definitely worth keeping your Audi long term.

I completely agree with @AudiEnthusiast that maintenance costs are a significant factor to consider when deciding whether to keep your Audi long term. As someone who's owned an A4 for over 5 years, I can attest that regular servicing and repairs have indeed added up. However, in my opinion, the benefits of owning an Audi far outweigh the costs. The driving dynamics, build quality, and overall ownership experience are unparalleled in its class. Plus, with a well-maintained engine, fuel efficiency is surprisingly good, especially considering the power and performance on tap. To mitigate rising maintenance costs, I've been diligent about keeping up with recommended servicing schedules, using OEM parts whenever possible, and even doing some minor repairs myself. This has helped to extend the life of my car while also giving me peace of mind when driving. Overall, while maintenance costs can be a concern, they shouldn't deter you from enjoying the many rewards that come with owning an Audi long term!

After owning my A4 for 5 years I've found the maintenance costs to be reasonable with routine servicing around £500 annually however replacing parts like timing chains and DSG units can be costly with prices ranging from £1,000 to £2,000.

I've owned my Audi A4 for over 5 years now, and I must say that while it's a fantastic car to drive, the maintenance costs have been a bit of a shock. Oil changes are around $100 every 10k miles, which isn't too bad, but the timing belt replacement at 60k miles was a whopper - $1,500! And don't even get me started on the cost of replacing the air suspension system, which I had to do recently at 80k miles. The total bill came out to be over $3,000! That being said, I still love my Audi and plan on keeping it for a few more years at least. While the maintenance costs are certainly higher than what I'm used to with other cars, the car itself has been very reliable and the driving experience is hard to beat. I think this is an important consideration when buying an Audi - not just the initial purchase price, but also the ongoing maintenance costs. It's worth doing your research beforehand and factoring these costs into your overall budget. For me, it's still worth it, but I'd like to hear from others who have had similar experiences!

I've owned my Audi A4 for over 5 years now and I have to say that the maintenance costs have been a bit of a surprise. Oil changes every 10k miles are around $75, but when it comes to things like timing belt replacements or new spark plugs, the bills can get quite steep. However, if you're not driving excessively and taking good care of your car, I think it's definitely worth keeping an Audi long term. The reliability and performance of these cars make them a joy to drive, and with some careful budgeting, the costs shouldn't be too overwhelming.

I completely agree with the author's assessment that maintaining an Audi long term can be costly. After owning my A4 for over 6 years, I've come to realize that the savings on gas and insurance have not outweighed the expenses of replacing worn-out parts and repairs, especially the transmission and engine. However, what makes up for it is the reliability, performance, and satisfaction of driving a well-tuned Audi. If you're willing to accept the costs, an Audi can provide years of trouble-free service and enjoyment.

I've owned my Audi A4 for 7 years and have had moderate maintenance costs, averaging around $1,500 annually. While not cheap, I feel the reliability and performance justify the expenses, making it worth keeping long term for me.

After owning an Audi A4 for 5 years I've come to realize that while the maintenance costs aren't excessively high, they're certainly higher than comparable non-premium brands. Perhaps it's worth considering a lower-end model or exploring more affordable options within the brand.

I've owned my A4 for over 5 years now and I have to say that while maintenance costs have been higher than expected, especially with the DSG transmission issues, it's still worth keeping long term. My biggest expense was a new clutch assembly at around $2k which is relatively cheap considering what other luxury brands charge for similar repairs. Overall, Audi's reliability has improved over the years and their dealership network offers decent support.

I've been an Audi owner for over 5 years now, and I have to say that while maintenance costs can be a bit higher than some of my friends' cars, it's definitely worth it for me. My A4 has been reliable and fuel-efficient, and the few times I had to take it in for repairs, the service was top-notch at the dealership. Plus, with regular servicing, I've managed to keep costs down and avoid any major issues. So far, my total maintenance cost is around $2,500 over 5 years, which is a small price to pay for owning such a great car!

I've owned my A4 for 5 years now and I have to say that maintenance costs have been a bit higher than expected. However, I've always done my homework before bringing it in for repairs or servicing, which has helped keep the costs under control. On the other hand, the overall reliability and performance of the car make me feel like it's still worth keeping long term. I'd say if you can budget for regular maintenance, an Audi is definitely a great choice, but don't go into it blind.

I've owned my Audi A4 for over 5 years now and I can attest to the fact that maintenance costs are definitely a consideration when deciding whether or not to keep your Audi long term. However, after crunching some numbers, I feel that it's still worth keeping mine. While the cost of parts and labor can be steep at times, my car has consistently averaged around 25-30mpg in city driving and 35-40mpg on the highway, which is quite respectable considering its age. Additionally, the fuel efficiency combined with Audi's reliable engineering means that I've had to replace very few components over the years. I think a major factor for me is also the emotional attachment I have developed towards my car - it's not just a vehicle, but a part of my daily life and routine. The thought of getting rid of it after all these years would be quite difficult, so I feel that the maintenance costs are still worth it for me personally.

While the initial purchase price may seem high, the overall cost of ownership has been relatively low compared to other luxury brands. The Audi dealership I go to has been great with transparent pricing and competitive deals on maintenance. My car still looks and runs like new after all these years, so for me, the benefits outweigh the costs.

I've owned my 2015 A4 for over 100k miles and have had surprisingly few issues considering the age of the vehicle. Regular oil changes and tire rotations have made a huge difference in maintaining its overall health. I also make sure to stay on top of software updates and follow the recommended maintenance schedule outlined in my owner's manual. While it's true that Audi parts can be pricey, I've found them to be well-made and long-lasting, which has helped offset some of those costs. Plus, I've been able to negotiate good deals on used parts from other owners when needed. For me, the peace of mind that comes with owning a reliable vehicle is worth the investment.
