Upgrading my 2012 Audi A4 to a manual transmission - Possible?

I'm considering upgrading my 2012 Audi A4 to a manual transmission as it's been a dream of mine since I got the car. The current automatic is smooth but lacks the engagement I've experienced in previous manual transmissions. Does anyone have experience with this or know if such an upgrade is even possible?
