I've owned my 2011 Audi A6 2.8 FSI for a few years now and I'm extremely disappointed with its performance and reliability. The car has been to the dealership multiple times for various issues, including faulty sensors, software glitches, and transmission problems. The engine is underpowered and struggles to deliver smooth acceleration, even when driven gently. The V6 motor vibrates excessively at idle and produces a noticeable humming noise when revving. Additionally, the fuel economy is mediocre, averaging around 20mpg in mixed driving conditions. The interior has some nice features, but they're overshadowed by a lack of overall refinement. The MMI infotainment system can be finicky and freezes frequently, requiring multiple resets. The seats are comfortable, but the leather trim shows signs of wear after just a few years of ownership. Overall, I'd avoid this model unless you're looking for a car to mod and fiddle with. Even then, there are better options available.

I recently owned an Audi A6 C7 from 2011 with a 2.8 FSI engine and I must say it was a huge disappointment. The car had issues with oil consumption right from the start. It would go through an entire liter of oil every 5-7 thousand kilometers, which is just unacceptable for a modern vehicle. The dealership would tell me that it's normal for this engine, but I think that's just a cop-out. Additionally, the fuel economy was nowhere near what Audi promised. I averaged around 8-10 km per liter in city driving, which is not impressive at all. And don't even get me started on the maintenance costs. The car required a new engine after only 70 thousand kilometers due to excessive oil consumption and engine damage. The interior of the car was nice, but that's about it. The rest of the experience with this vehicle has been nothing short of frustrating. Overall, I would not recommend this car to anyone looking for reliability and decent fuel economy.
